Replica vintage fireman's helmet.

This is a historical copy of MFB Merryweather & Cornell Annandale helmet from 1906 in an antique finish, completely handcrafted and engraved. Firefighters wore these helmets to protect from heat and falling debris, cinders and falling objects. Interestingly the shape of the helmets have had minimal changes over the years, however, the material they are made from have evolved from leather to metals and finally lighter weight polymers and plastics for practicality and safety advancements.

Comes with a wooden stand.
